Scope of delivery
The machine is ready for operation on delivery. The
industrial vacuum cleaner which comprises suction
head, vessel and undercarriage, is delivered with
accessories consisting of hand-held tube (two
pieces), bent tube, suction hose and water suction
nozzle.
GB.5.2
Assembly of tubes, suction
hose and nozzle
Deplug device!
Put the connection piece into the connector of the
vessel by slightly twisting it. Plug together suction
tube (two pieces) and bent tube, and secure in
position by firmly twisting them. The nozzle can now
be plugged on the suction tube.
Please note: The bent tube is bent asymmetrically.
By turning the bent tube, the length of the tubes can
be adjusted to different body heights.

Vacuuming water and dust
GB.5.3.1
Vacuuming water
Please remove dust bag, if present, before
vacuuming water.
The industrial vacuum cleaner is fitted with an
electronic level cutoff which serves to indicate that
the vessel is completely filled with liquid when
vacuuming water. The two sensors at the bottom
side of the suction head are bridged by the liquid
level in the vessel; a small current which is not
dangerous to humans may flow between the
sensors. After three seconds of continuous contact
the motor is switched off electronically. If the device
has been cut off, set the switch to 0-position before
restarting it. The device can now be restarted as
usual.
Since the level cutoff does not work with non-
conducting fluids (e. g. oil), avoid to vacuum these
kinds of fluids.
GB.5.3.2
Vacuuming of dust
To use the industrial vacuum cleaner for dry
vacuuming purposes, a dust bag is required. The
use of a paper filter bag is recommended. Vessel
and accessories shall be used in dry condition only
since moisture in vessel and accessories can
render the dust bag sticky or damage the paper
filter bag. Deplug the device! Remove suction head.
The dust bag and paper filter bag can now be
inserted.
GB.6.
Putting the appliance
into operation
If the machine is to be used for vacuuming dust,
make sure that the dust bag and paper filter bag is
inserted.
Put the plug into the socket and switch on the
device at the device switch. Make sure that dust
bag and accessories are not clogged. Repeatedly
check these components for clogging during
operation.
GB.7.
Storage of the appliance
Turn off device at the device switch. Disconnect
appliance from the mains. Do not pull on the
connecting cable since this can be damaged. For
rewinding the cable always start at the device in
order to avoid twisting.

After vacuuming water always empty the vessel at
the end of a working day, even if it is not filled to the
maximum level.
