and tighten screw. (Fig. 8.01)

ATTENTION!
Prior to starting up the Strip and Twist Machine AVG 0160, make sure it is firmly
positioned on a sturdy stand or bench to prevent it from tipping over.
Assure an appropriate table height. The table height is depending on the position of
the operator (work in sitting or standing position) according to prEN 894-4:2004,
Table A.1.
The Strip and Twist Machine AVG 0160 does not have its own light source. Assure
an appropriate illumination of the working place. (EN 1837:1999 – chapter 4.2: "The
general value of illumination hast to be 500 lx [...]")
Prior to starting up the Strip and Twist Machine AVG 0160 you have to check the
condition of the connecting cables. The cables must not show any damage.
Damages have to be repaired before continuing to work with the machine.
The machine is only allowed to be used when it is in complete functional condition.
Place the cables on the floor so that they do not cause a trip hazard.
Place the foot petal on the floor only. Do not lay the foot pedal in aisles or walk
ways.
CAUTION!
When working with the Strip and Twist Machine AVG 0160, do not wear loose clothing,
jewellery or long, loose hair that can get caught in the Strip and Twist Machine AVG
0160.
INFORMATION:
Make sure that the stripping length, the stripping depth and the sense of twist are
correctly adjusted
