Notes on Service and Maintenance

It is absolutely essential that machine and equipment parts on which maintenance or service jobs have to
be carried out are disconnected from the electricity supply, unless anything to the contrary is stated in the
operating manual. Unplug the machine from power supply.
The electrical equipment of the machine must be checked regularly, faults such as loose connections or
scorched cables must be removed immediately.

General Information / Product Description / Function

When the Strip and Twist Machine AVG 0160 is used in accordance with the instruction for use, it is
safe to operate. If the safety precautions and the warnings are not strictly observed the employment of
the Strip and Twist Machine AVG 0160 could be dangerous.
The Strip and Twist Machine AVG 0160 has many special performance features. It strips and twist inner
cable Ø from 0.01 mm² - 6.00 mm² (AWG 24-10). The revolver head has 8 positions each of which is
individually adjustable and can be set for Ø from 0.1 to 5.7 mm.

The high speed START and STOP action permits a high rate of output. The reversing switch controls
clockwise or anti-clockwise revolution of the stripping head to suit the conformation of the cable being
stripped. The stripping action is electrically activated by the foot pedal and can be integrated into a
production line. The stripping blades continue to rotate whilst the foot pedal remains depressed, thus
assuring penetration of the insulation being stripped. Suitable for PVC, Glass fibre, Rubber insulation etc.
All other applications of the Strip and Twist Machine AVG 0160 are only permitted with a written
permission of the manufacturer. For all unauthorised applications of the Strip and Twist Machine AVG
0160 the manufacturer cannot be held liable for any resultant damage or injury.
