Replacing cables or plugs
If the power cord is damaged, it must be
replaced by the manufacturer or its service
agent or a similarly qualified person, in order to
avoid a hazard.
Immediately throw away old cables or plugs
when they have been replaced by new ones. It
is dangerous to insert the plug of a loose cable
in the wall outlet.
Using extension cables
Only use an approved extension cable suitable
for the power input of the machine. The mini-
mum conductor size is 1.5 mm
cable reel always unwind the reel completely
Inadequate extension cords can be danger-
ous. If an extension cord is used, it shall be
suitable for outdoor use, and the connection
has to be kept dry and off the ground. It is
recommended that this is accomplished by
means of a cord reel which keeps the socket
at least 60 mm above the ground.
BEFORE FIRST USE
Remove the plunge saw and the accessories
from the packaging. Check the saw for trans-
port damage and do not use the saw in case
of damages. Keep the packing materials away
from children, risk of suffocation!

INTENDED USE
The plunge saw is intended to cut wood and
similar materials, gypsum and cement-bonded
fibre materials and plastics, tile, granite or
concrete.
The plunge saw is only to be used with a spe-
cifically designed guide rail. Installation in a
different or homemade guide rail or workbench
can cause serious accidents.
SWITCH PLUNGE SAW ON/OFF
1.
Press the ON/OFF switch (2) to switch the
plunge saw on.
2.
Release the ON/OFF switch (2) to switch
the plunge saw off.
3.
Pressing the locking switch (1) unlocks the
plunge cut mechanism, so that the motor
can be moved downwards. The saw blade

SET CUTTING DEPTH
The cutting depth can be set between 0 — 42
mm:
1.
Loosen the cutting depth limit stop knob
(5) and slide it to the desired cutting depth
according to the graduated scale (12) to
set the cutting depth.
2.
Tighten the cutting depth limit stop knob
(5). The motor or respectively the saw
blade can now be pushed down to the set
cutting depth.
For a clean, safe cut set the cutting depth
in such way that only max. one saw blade
tooth protrudes under the work piece.
DETERMINE CUTTING LINE
The cutting line (9) is marked on the base plate
(6) of the plunge saw.
Align cutting line (9) at the front and back of the
base plate with your marked cutting line when
using the plunge saw without guide rail for
straight cuts.
