Y
Mitre cutting (X axis = -45° / +45°, Y axis = 90°):
Y
Mitre cutting occurs when the head stays in a vertical position,
perpendicular to the cutting table. The head can rotate on its
axis from -45° to +45°.
To adjust the mitre angle, loosen the selector knob (1) and
pull the mitre angle lock (2).
Pull the knob (1) to rotate the cutting table.
Y
Once you have found the desired cutting angle, release the
lock (2) and tighten the knob (1).
The lower cutting table has an indicator that can be checked
against the scale ruler on the lower table.
Additionally, the lower table can be easily adjusted to angles
of -45° / -30° / -22.5° / -15° / 0° / +15° / +22.5° / +30° / +45°
(these pre-sets may vary by model).
Once the lower table starts to rotate, the table will stop
automatically when it reaches any of the indicated angles,
where it will make a characteristic noise and lock at that angle
until the lower table is set in motion again.
Bevel cutting (X axis = 90°, Y axis = -45° / 0°):
Y
Bevel cutting occurs when the head tilts on its axis and no
longer remains perpendicular to the cutting table.
Y
This tool only allows the head to swing to the left side.
The SCR315W model can tilt to both sides.
You must loosen the locking knobs of the lateral guides (17)
and slide the lateral guides away from the head before you
Y
can tilt it.
To adjust the bevel cut angle, loosen the head tilt screw (5)
and tilt the head to the desired angle. The machine is set to
tilt to -45° by default.
You can use a goniometer to fine-tune the cutting angle with
the help of the scale ruler found at the base of the head.
Once you have found the bevel cutting angle, retighten the
screw (5).
Y
On the SCR315W model, pull the tilted cutting pin (18) if you
wish to perform cuts with the head tilted to the right.
Once you have chosen the direction of head tilt, retighten the
tilt pin (18).

ENGLISH

Compound cutting involves a combination of bevel and mitre
cutting angles.
To find your compound cut, follow the steps indicated for
performing bevel and mitre cuts simultaneously.
Carrying out the cutting operation on the lower
table
1
Prepare workpiece by fastening it in a completely safe
manner.
2
Set the length of the cut by loosening the rail knob (8). If
you wish to make a long cut using the full length of the
telescopic rail (9), loosen the locking knob (8) completely.
3
Start-up the electric machine pressing the switch on the
grip (6). On the SCR216W and SCR315W models, press
the locking button (3) beforehand.
4
Wait for some seconds until the cutting disk reaches its
maximum speed.
5
Slowly lower the head with the help of the grip in a smooth,
continuous movement. On the SCR255CW model, you
must remove the plate (3) before lowering the head.
6
Exert pressure in the blade's direction of advance with
an intensity being suitable for the material to be cut. To
perform long cuts or cuts using the telescopic rail, start
the cut with the head fully extended over the telescopic
rail (9) so that it is in its closest position closest to you.
First, start the cut by lowering the head to its lowest
position, then slowly push the head away from you so
that it slides along the telescopic rail (9) and performs the
long cut.
WARNING:
Never perform a cut from back to front, pulling the head
towards you. This could cause serious accidents and could
also damage the piece you are cutting.
7
Once the cutting operation has been completed, raise
operating head again. Stop the machine by pushing
switch.
Using cutting extenders (10)
The tool includes 2 extenders for cutting long workpieces
(10).
The extenders have 2 screws at the ends of the rods that act
as a stop. To fit the extenders, remove these screws, insert
the rods into the corresponding holes at the base of the tool
and replace the screws under the base.
This will prevent the extenders from coming out of the
machine if tugged on.
The extenders can be used to support large workpieces, and
they must be fixed in place with the knobs located at the rear
of the cutting table (19).
Using the depth stop (11)
The tool includes a depth stop for tasks that require partial
cuts or cuts with reduced visibility.
Use the depth stop screw (11) to adjust the depth of a cut.
The more this screw is screwed in, the less you can lower the
head and the shallower the cuts will be.
Laser guide (14)
DANGER LASER RADIATION
Do not look directly at the beam.
Laser specifications as per EN62841-1:
CLASS 2
Wave length: 650 mm / Power: < 1mW
The purpose of the laser guide is to obtain a precise cut.
Use the laser guide (14) whenever the job requires a precise
cut or when there are guiding lines drawn on the workpiece
surface.
To use the laser guide simply press the switch (16) located on
the handle of the tool.
Once you have finished using it, press the same switch to
turn it off.
