4.2 CVS remote control installation and working
4.2.1 Installation of the remote control CVS
• The dimensions of the CVS remote control are suitable for the positioning in electric boxes type "502" (2 modules).
• To fasten the control to the electric box:
-
remove the front plate of the control;
-
remove the 3 switches by pulling them with care to avoid any damage to them;
-
fasten the basis of the control to the electric box with 2 screws;
-
position again the switches and the front plate.
4.2.2 Working of the remote control CVS
The remote control is endowed with 3 switches:
- on/off switch for the on/off switching of the unit;
- high/low switch for selecting the minimum or maximum speed;
- Bypass/HRV switch for selecting the "free-cooling" function or the "ventilation with heat recovery" function. In the
Bypass position, the exhaust air does not pass through the heat recovery unit and so it does not exchange heat with
the entering air. This function is useful during the mid-seasons if you wish to make fresh air enter into the room. In
the HRV position, the exhaust air passes through the heat recovery unit and exchanges heat with the entering air,
warming it up during the winter season and making it fresh during the summer season.
SECTION 5 - START UP CONTROLS
Before starting the unit check the following:
• Anchorage of the unit to the ceiling.
• Connection of the air ducts.
• Connection of the earth cable.
• Fixing of all the electric terminals.
SECTION 6 - ORDINARY MAINTENANCE
