MACHINE PROGRAMME
PI 200/250 AC/DC
PI 200 AC/DC is single-phased and PI 250 AC/DC is a
three-phased welding machine for MMA and TIG welding.
Both machines are air-cooled but can be delivered as water-
cooled as special equipment.
Welding hoses
The machine can be equipped with TIG welding hoses,
electrode holders and return current cables from the
MIGATRONIC programme.
Trolley (option)
The machines can be delivered with a transport trolley with
built-in tools tray, torch holder and room for welding
consumables.
Torch cooling unit (option)
A separated torch cooling unit can be delivered which
enables use of watercooled TIG welding torches from the
MIGATRONIC programme.

Foot control
INITIAL OPERATION
Mains connection
The machine must be connected to a mains supply and
protection earthing. After the mains plug (1) has been
connected to the mains the machine is ready for use. Please
note that all cable connections must be made by authorised
and qualified staff. Switch on and off the machine by means
of the breaker (3) on the rear of the machine.
Lifting instructions
The lifting point must be used as shown
in the following drawing. The machine
must not be lifted with a mounted gas
bottle!
Important!
In order to avoid damage to plugs and
cables, good electric contact is
required when connecting the work
return cable and welding torch to the
machine.
Gas connection
Connect the gas hose, which branches off from the back
panel of the welding machine (2), to a gas supply with
pressure regulator (2-6 bar). (Note: Some types of pressure
regulators require an output pressure of more than 2 bar to
function optimally). Fit and secure the gas hose to the gas
connection (6) on the front of the machine.
Gas consumption
Depending on the welding task, gas type and seam design,
the gas consumption will vary in ranges from 6-7 l/min at low
amperages (<25A) and up to 27 l/min at max. amperage.
