The hole where the hob is to be
placed should not be hermetically
sealed; an air hole of at least 350 x 50
mm must be made on the rear lower
side of the furniture. See graphic 16.
Said hole should be protected in such a
way that the inwards air flow can
never be obstructed through the same
by any element.
In the event you wish to place a wooden plank under the hob, this should be movable and
never be in contact with the hob gas installation, making sure to make the orifices necessary
for the gas pipe, as well as the hole for air inlet. See graphic 17.
The material making up the work top on which the glass ceramic hob is be installed should
be heat resistant (at least 100º C); if this has a plastic or laminated coverings the adhesive
should also be heat resistant, in order to avoid the covering becoming deformed or become
unstuck. Check with the furniture manufacturer.

We recommend rounding up
the top box angles in order to
reinforce the resistance of the
top and avoid dirt coming in
through the corners.
If the hob is going to be mounted
with an oven, the measurements at
the rear part of 45 and 20 mm
should be respected and not
increased.
