SENSORS
The surface of the hob is provided with graphically represented sensors, which can be
activated with the finger.
Each hob heat source functions when activated by
its corresponding sensor.
We recommend activating the desired sensor with
the thumb of your right hand, in order not to
interfere with another sensor. See Graphic 3.

START-UP
For the start-up of the glass ceramic hob, the opening/closing knob of the same has to be
activated by placing your finger twice, consecutively, on the sensor. The indicator will light
up.
After 20 seconds from the last operation carried
out on the hob, the opening/closing knob will be
automatically deactivated, the pre-selected burners
remaining in operation.

Once the burners of the glass ceramic hob have

been selected, if you wish to carry out another
operation once the knob has been deactivated, you

will need to reactivate it following the described
procedure.
Quick turn-off
Keep the Opening/Closing sensor pressed until it turns off.
Attention:
Do not put close, nor cover, any glass ceramic sensor with any pot (if it is hot it can damage
the sensors); the hob will signal this acoustically and then would turn off the right heat
source.
DESCRIPTION OF LEFT HEAT SOURCE
Located at the left front part of the hob. This is made up by two burners: Crown burner and
Central or Nucleolus burner.
GAS POWER LEVELS:
Thanks to the combination of both burners, the left heat source has three gas power levels:
Minimum gas power level:
In this gas power level only the Central burner (nucleolus) of the heat source is turned on.
Ideal gas power level to boil large pots with the lid on, also for quick boiling in small
diameter pots.
