3. INSTALLATIONS
3.1 GENERAL INSTALLATION
• The scale can be placed on a level and hard surface
• Avoid extreme temperatures. do not place the scale neither directly under day sunlight nor in front of air conditioner pipes
• Avoid unstable tables. the tables or the ground must be hard and they must not vibrate. do not place the scale near a machine which is vibrating.
• Avoid unstable electrical outlet. do not use the scale near equipment with a lot of electricity consumption such as welding equipment or large electric
engines.
• Avoid air currents such as the ones which come from fans or the opening of doors. do not place the scales near open windows.
• Keep your balance scale clean.
• Keep your balance scale dry.
• This balance scale has not been designed to be waterproof (ip44) so it is important to avoid high levels of moisture which may cause condensation. avoid
direct contact with water. do not spray water on the balance scales or immerse them. if the scale gets into contact with water, the reading data might be
unstable, or the scale might not function properly. when this is the case, switch off the electric current immediately.
• Do not stack up material on the scale when it is working
3.2 INSTALLATION OF THE BC SERIES
The BC series includes a stainless steel plate which is packed individually and separated from the scale. Place the plate on the adjustment holes that you can
find on the top cover. Do not press very tight because too much tightness may damage the internal load cell of the scale.
Level the scale adjusting the four feet. The balance scale should be levelled in a way that the bubble level remains in the centre of the circle and the balance
scale leans on the four feet. If the scale staggers, you must proceed to adjust the feet again.
Place the adapter cable in the connector placed at the side of the balance scale. Please use the electricity supply according to the specifications.
Operate the switch, which is placed next to the power adaptor to switch on and switch off the balance scale.
!
Realize a weight calibration following the descriptions that appear in sections 10 ( Setting) and 11 ( Calibration).

Numeric keyboards
used to introduce manually a value for the weights of tare, unit weight and sample size.

el peso unitario o una entrada errónea
Autozero
. The display shows zero value
Tare
This key allow the storing of the current weight in the memory of the balance scale, such as tare value. It also subtracts the
value of tare from the weight and shows the results. The result obtained is the net weight. If the user introduces a value using the
keyboard, this value is going to be stored as a tare value.
