7.6. MANUAL ACCUMULATED TOTAL
The values ( weight and pieces) that are showed in the display can be added to the values stored in the accumulator by pressing the key
"WEIGHT" display is going to show the total weight, the "PIECES" display is going to show the number of total accumulated pieces and the "UNIT
WEIGHT" display is going to show the number of times that items have been added to the accumulation memory. The different values are going to appear
during 2 seconds, after that the scale is going to go back to its normal mode.
The scale must go back to zero before another sample can be added to the memory.
The user can add more product and then press the key

To observe the total stored the user must press the key
To delete the memory the user must press the key
from the memory.
7.7. . AUTOMATIC ACCUMULATED TOTALS
The scale can be set to accumulate totals automatically when a weight is placed on the scale. This function removes the necessity to press the key
to store the values in the memory. However, the key
are not stored when the balance scale goes back to zero. Check the section SETTING UP if you need to know more information about how to activate
AUTOMATIC ACCUMULATION.
8. WORKING WITH BATTERY
This type of scales include a rechargeable battery ( a 6v74Ah lead acid battery ) . The balance scales can function with batteries it the user prefers it. The
lasting of the battery is of approximately 72 hours.
Note: new batteries are partially loaded. Before using your balance scale you must install and load the battery following the instructions
detailed below. Some batteries have a better efficiency after some complete load/unload cycles. The efficiency of the batteries depends
on a wide number of factors, including the setting up of the backlighting and the operation.
To charge the battery you only have to switch it on the electrical grid. It is not necessary to switch on the scale. The charging of the battery should last 12
hours to charge the battery at its full capacity. Immediately under the display of quantity there is a LED that indicates the state of the charge of the battery.
When the scale is switched on to the electrical grid, the internal battery is going to charge. IF the LED is green the battery has completed its charge. If
the LED is red, the battery is nearly discharged. When the LED is yellow, the battery is still charging.
To maximize the efficiency of your battery, you must always use original CA CA batteries and adapters.
CA batteries and adapters. The guarantee of the scale does not cover the damages caused by the use of other batteries and/or chargers. The voltage of
the exit of the CA adapter is 9V, but the range of average voltage oscillates between the 11V and the 15V. The new batteries or those batteries which have
been stored during long periods of time may require a bigger charging span of time. Keep the battery at ambient temperature or a nearby temperature
during the charging process. Do not expose the batteries at temperatures inferior to -10ºC or superior to 45ºC. In the course of long periods of time, the
batteries are progressively losing their capacity

• Do not use a damaged charger or battery.
•Do not make a short circuit in the battery. It might result in an accidental short circuit when the metal
object( coin, clip or pen) causes a direct connection to the + and – poles of the battery ( metal strips on
the battery), for example when you have a spare battery in your pocket.
•To create a short circuit in the poles can damage the battery or the object that is connected.
•Do not throw away the batteries into fire.
•Throw away the batteries following your local regulation ( for example, recycle)
•Do not throw away the batteries together with your home rubbish. Avoid charging the battery under
conditions when there is lack of air.
•When the battery needs to be charged, the arrow placed on the symbol of low battery, under the weight
display, is going to switch on. As soon as the arrow appears on the symbol you must charge the battery.
The scale is going to function about 10 hours, and after that it is going to switch off automatically to protect
the battery.
