Open-Top Storage Bin Set and Quick Release Mount
24045-00001 (Open-Top Storage Bin Set), 24043-00001 (Quick Release Mount)
Tools required
• 4 mm hex wrench
• Torque wrench
Installation
1.
Make sure the PT is powered off and unplugged.
2.
Install a Quick Release Mount to each Open-Top Storage Bin using four
12 mm fasteners and four Nyloc nuts, as shown in Figure 13. Torque the
fasteners to 6.0 N-m (4.4 ft-lbf).
3.
Install four Plastic nut covers over the four Nyloc nuts.
4.
Secure the Open-Top Storage Bin to the Cargo Rack using the Quick
Release Mount as shown in Figure 14.
NOTE
Be sure the Quick Release Mount engages the Quick Release Knob firmly
and securely, with an audible "click."
Removal
1.
Make sure the PT is powered off and unplugged.
2.
Remove the Open-Top Storage Bin from the Cargo Rack by pulling out on
the Quick Release Knob, while tilting the Open-Top Storage Bin away from
the Cargo Rack.
NOTE
Refer to the Weight Limits and Maximum Allowable Cargo Weight
sections (p. 3) before using this accessory.
