x2 SE Side Cargo Frame

Tools required
• 4 mm hex wrench
• Torque wrench
Remove the x2 SE Fender/Frame assembly:
1. Make sure the Segway PT is unplugged and powered off.
2. Remove the three 28 mm fasteners using a 4 mm hex wrench and put
them in a safe place (see Figure 3).
3. Lift off the Fender and Frame assembly and clean all debris from the
mounting surfaces.
4. To remove the Fender from the Fender Frame, remove the four
18 mm fasteners using a 4 mm hex wrench (see Figure 4).
Install the x2 SE Side Cargo Frame:
1. Make sure the Segway PT is unplugged and powered off.
2. Thread the four 18 mm fasteners through the fender and into the Side
Cargo Frame. Using a 4 mm hex wrench, tighten the fasteners until seated.
Continue to tighten one-half to one full turn.
3. Thread the three 28 mm long fasteners through the Fender and Frame
assembly into the gearbox cover on the PT.
4. Using a 4 mm hex wrench, torque to 6.0 N-m (4.4 ft-lbf).
NOTE
Refer to the Weight Limits and Maximum Allowable Cargo Weight
sections (p. 3) before using this accessory.
