If the cutting element continues to rotate, stop the engine, and then readjust the idle
speed adjustment screw after confirming that there is no hitch on the throttle lever
motion.
If cutting element continues to move, despite the idle speed adjustment, then have the
machine repaired by your local reseller.
Always inspect the product before each use for worn, loose, or damaged parts.
Never operate a product that is damaged, improperly adjusted, or is not completely
and securely assembled, or without protective shield.
Be sure that the product stops moving when the throttle control trigger is released.
Never start cutting until you have a clear work area and adopt a secure footing.
Always hold the product's handles firmly with both hands when the engine is
running.
Use a firm grip with thumb and fingers encircling the product handles.
Place your feet slightly apart so that your weight is distributed evenly across both
legs, and always be sure to maintain a steady, even posture while working.
Maintain the speed of the engine at the level required to perform the cutting work, and
never raise the engine speed above the necessary level.
While you are operating the machine:
- Always maintain a safe and secure working position;
- Regularly check the condition of the cutting attachment.
Never use blades that are dull, cracked or damaged.
Maintain blades sharpen for better and safer cutting.
Immediately replace any worn out or damaged blade.
- To reduce the risk of blockage, overheating or fire hazard, clean dirt, leaves and
lubricant surplus, etc. from the blades
Stay Alert!
If someone calls you or otherwise interrupts you while you are working, stop the
engine before turning around to the person.
Guard against hazardous situations at all times. Warn adults to keep pets and children
away from your working area, as injury may arise from flying debris.
If the machine starts to vibrate or shake, turn off the engine and carefully check the
whole product. Do not use the machine until the trouble is properly solved.
Keep all parts of your body away from:
- The cutting elements when the engine is running (cutting hazard).
- The hot surfaces (burn hazard)
Never touch the muffler, spark plug or other metallic parts of the engine while the
engine is operating or immediately after shutting down the engine. Doig so could
result in serious burns or electrical shock.
Always shut off the engine before setting down the machine.
Always be sure to switch off the engine and disconnect the spark plug before carrying
out any intervention, maintenance or working on the machine.
Ensure that the cutting element is no longer rotating when you put the product
All product service, other than the maintenance listed in the Instructions Manual,
should be performed by competent service personnel.
Keep the product and cutting element well maintained and sharpened.
Keep the handles dry, clean and free of oil or fuel mixture; immediately clean any oil,
fuel spill.
Never take apart or alter the machine in any way and under no circumstances.
Any alteration or modification so will void the guarantee.
