Spark gap: 0.6~0.7mm (.023" ; .028" ;)
Tightening torque: 14,7~21,5Nm (145~211kgf-cm)
6.1.8- Gear case (Fig.21)
Supply multi-purpose grease at every 50 hours of use.
1. Use a grease pump.
2. Feed grease until it comes out of the base of blades. ( (Fig.21.a).
6.1.9- Adjusting throttle cable (Fig.22)
The normal play is 1 or 2mm when measured at the carburetor side end.
Readjust with the cable adjuster (a) as required and tighten the screw (b)
up.
6.2- Cleaning
Clean plastic parts with a soft clean cloth.
Do not use aggressive cleansers (solvents or abrasive cleansers), or an abrasive sponge.
Do not put or immerse product in water or any other liquid.
Clean ventilation holes with a soft brush.
6.3- Storage
Clean product and empty fuel tank. (Fig.23) :
1. Oil the blade to prevent rust.
2. Empty the fuel tank and put the cap back on.
3. Remove the spark plug, pour a small amount of oil into the cylinder.
4. Rotate the crankshaft several times using the starting rope in order to distribute the
oil.
5. Put the spark plug back in.
6. Wrap the engine with a plastic sheet.
7. Place scabbard on blade.
Product must be stored in a dry, well ventilated, location, protected from dust and cold/hot
temperatures or heat sources. Always lock up product and keep out of reach of children
6.4- Disposal
When disposing of your machine, remove oil and fuel from the machine, and be sure to follow the
local regulations. Do not dispose of in/with household rubbish.
