3 IMPORTANT NOTES
3.1
(Option: sold to the customer and not installed)
KTM provides a 6-month manufacturer warranty on original spare parts and technical accessories that were
purchased at an authorized KTM dealer and that meet homologation requirements. For original spare parts
and technical accessories that do not meet homologation requirements (not approved for use on public roads),
an implied warranty period of 30 calendar days applies. The customer cannot claim compensation for labor
costs on the grounds of manufacturer warranty. The warranty period begins on the date of the invoice issued
to the customer. If an application is submitted, the invoice issued to the customer must be attached as a
document file (not the purchasing invoice of the authorized KTM dealer). The original spare parts and techni-
cal accessories must be checked carefully to ensure that they are free of flaws when transferred to the custo-
mer. This check must be performed jointly by the customer and the authorized KTM dealer.
(Option: sold to the customer and installed)
KTM provides a 6-month manufacturer warranty on original spare parts and technical accessories that were
sold to a customer and installed on a KTM vehicle in an authorized KTM workshop in accordance with manu-
facturer guidelines. In the event of a valid claim, labor costs are additionally compensated for original spare
parts and technical accessories. The renewed repair must be performed in an authorized KTM workshop. The
warranty period begins on the date of the invoice issued to the customer. If an application is submitted, the
invoice issued to the customer must be attached as a document file (not the purchasing invoice of the autho-
rized KTM dealer).
Additional information on the manufacturer warranty or the implied vehicle warranty and the procedures involved
can be found in the Service & Warranty Booklet.
