Draining the system
To avoid the danger of ice formation when the ambient temperature is <8 °C, the ramps and the entire water system must be emptied.
There are 2 water drainage:
•
racks (i.e. piping which supplies water to the spray nozzles and the adiabatic panel)
•
water recovery tank (only for Spray+Adiabatic Panel machines with spray water recovery tank).
Drainage is effected simultaneously on all the solenoid valves (ramps and tank) which are normally open. The procedure for draining
recovery water in the tank blocks the operation of the adiabatic panel until the cycle is concluded, while the procedure for draining
the ramps blocks both the adiabatic pack and the spray system.
3.5.1
Manual
The procedure to activate the solenoid valves can be done manually from the controller inside the switch board (see manual LU1W)
ADVANCED → MANUAL → WATER DISCHARGE. In cases in which the spray and/or the adiabatic pack are in operation this state is
signalled and a request to confirm activation is made. If it is chosen to continue with activation, the adiabatic pack/spray are blocked.
If no manual disactivation of the drain function is carried out, after 10 minutes the function automatically disactivates itself.
3.5.2
Timed (see manual of controller)
The parameter PR50 enables the timed drain function. After a period of time from the last use of a water resource, PR51 minutes for
the rack drain valve and PR52 minutes for the tank drain valve, the valves are opened for a time respectively of PR53 and PR54 seconds.
3.5.3
By digital input
Draining is activated by dedicated digital inlet for a certain period of activation time and a digital inlet is provided for. If the adiabatic
panel or the spray system is active, it are blocked.
3.5.4
By external temperature (antifreeze)
The system drained by activating the opening of the drain valves depending on the external temperature. If the ambient temperature
drops below a threshold, the plant drains. The valves remain open until the temperature rises above a certain differential.
UV lamp
The plant can be fitted with a system of UV lamp sanitization standard or on request according to the type of configuration.
This is positioned on the supply line of recovered water from the tank to the ramps of the adiabatic panels.
This necessitates a spray unit which is more complex than the standard one. The lamp comes completely assembled mechanically and
wired electrically to a junction box for the relative 230 V-1 ph- 50Hz power supply.
Maximum pressure of water passing the UV lamp = 5 bar.
Maximum treated water quantity: 2180 l/h
Capacity: 55W
UV lamp maintenance
- After every month of use, clean the external surface of the protective glass of the lamp with alcohol and let dry.
- Check that there is no damage to the protective glass.
- ATTENTION: for a correct operation the air purge valve has to be open
