outdoor temperature conditions.
When the ARCALINE2 3G is cold, the available power is
at a maximum.
If the temperature increases too much, the ARCALINE2
3G will automatically reduce its power to guarantee its
thermal regulation. This mode is recommended for
temporary events where the ARCALINE2 3G'S power
consumption must be optimal.
The "Architectural" mode guarantees stability of the unit's
luminous flux, in return for a lower luminous flux than in
"Entertainment" mode. This mode is recommended in the
context of fixed installations of the ARCALINE2 3G, where
the consistency of the flux is important. It is also advisable
to use this mode in the event that the ARCALINE2 3G is
often used at values close to 100% of its power output.
CONSTANT COLOUR MODE
Activation or non-activation of this mode, which ensures
consistency of adjusted colours.
This menu allows to adjust the consistency of the colours
generated by the ARCALINE2 3G. This mode makes
it possible to avoid the phenomenon of gradual colour
deterioration generally observed on sealed projectors
fitted with LED light sources, which occurs when the
device heats up.
The effects are as follows :
CONSTANT COLOUR ON mode : In this Mode, the
device's internal software automatically compensates
for the phenomenon of the deterioration of the
colorimetry, which occurs when the projector becomes
hot during use, thus preserving the colours set when
cold. In return, when the CONSTANT COLOUR mode
is activated, the device's general luminosity is likely to
decrease. This mode is recommended when the device
is designed to light an area in a preset colour (or with a
slow change of colour) together with other projectors of
the same type for a long period. By nature, this mode
is particularly suited to the constraints of architectural
lighting.
CONSTANT COLOUR OFF mode : The function
is
deactivated
and
compensation of colorimetry is activated. The quantity
of light available with the ARCALINE2 3G is at a
maximum when this function is deactivated. However,
the nature of the colours configured on the device is
likely to deteriorate when the device heats up (this is
because the Red LEDs significantly lose efficiency as
their temperature increases). This traditional mode is
no
temperature-dependent
recommended for event lighting and the majority of
temporary lighting applications, where the maximum
quantity of available light is preferred.
DIMMER
Choice of the dimmer's operating mode, Normal Mode
or Reversed.

Information parameters

The following parameters can only be consulted by means of
a DMX controller that complies with the RDM (Remote Device
Management) standard and cannot be modified :

Setting the ARCALINE2 3G
with DMX RDM controller
The parameters of the ARCALINE2 3G can be set remotely by
a controller that complies with the DMX RDM (Remote Device
Management) standard, through DMX512 wire connections.
A variety of DMX RDM controllers are available from most
manufacturers of lighting consoles and DMX tools. AYRTON
does not market DMX RDM controllers.
