DESCRIpTIoN
To develop the optimal successor to the TEQUILA3, we worked with passion and love
of details to select the best of many different prototypes with the goal of maximizing
performance, safety, stability, handling and fun in the TEQUILA4.
It's good to know that there's a glider that meets all your demands – whether you just fly
for fun or want to be the highest in your house thermal, make challenging XC flights, or if
you're just beginning your training. With the new TEQUILA4, skywalk brings modern CHILI3
technology to the leisure class! The TEQUILA series was always known for its passive safe-
ty combined with lots of performance potential and absolutely uncomplicated handling.
That's why skywalk didn't push the design of the TEQUILA4 to the limit.
The latest technologies such as mini ribs, 3D shaping, rigid foils and a reduced total line
length turn this pure bred 3-liner into a high performance wing for its class - even as pilot
demand remains manageable. This all-round glider will thrill you with its very direct but light
handling and super glide performance and a top speed that is high for its class.
Thanks to its low weight and the use of rigid foils, launching the TEQUILA4 is child's play.
And it's fun to fly! Whether you're a talented novice or an XC pilot: the EN-B certified
TEQUILA was and is an excellent choice for many pilots.
SCopE oF DElIVERy
The TEQUILA4 comes standard with inner bag, compression strap, 2 sticker sheets,
glider backpack, riser bag and manual.
JET FlApS
Each of our gliders is equipped with skywalk's patented JET FLAP technology. Air is con-
ducted from the bottom of the wing (pressure area) to the top of the wing (vacuum area)
and is blown out there with a higher speed. The connection is established through jet
shaped channels located toward the back of the wing. The addition air mass on the top
of the wing delays the flow separation. The stall occurs later, the minimum flyable speed
is lower, and the pilot has more reserve in the angle of attack. This is especially important
in phases such as takeoff and landing. The JET FLAPS also help to improve climb perfor-
mance since they allow you to circle very slowly in thermals with little danger. The glider
can be flown normally as the JET FLAPS don't require any special control technique.
