3 Identification data

On the bottom of the dome there are two identification plates reporting:
• Product identification code
• Serial number
• Main supply voltage (Volt)
• Frequency (Hertz)
• Power consumption (Watt)
On the packing there is an identification plate reporting:
• Product identification code (Extended 3/9 Bar-code)
• Serial number (Bar code Extended 3/9)
• Brief description of the equipment
• Main supply voltage (Volt)
• Frequency (Hertz)
• Power consumption (Watt)
When carrying out installation make sure that the power supply pecifications correspond to those required by
the product. Use of inappropriate equipment may be very hazardous for the safety of personnel and of the
system itself.

4 MDI dome description

MDI dome is a product for professional use in applications for security and surveillance. In a security
system MDI dome is the best choice for indoor survelliance applications.

4.2 Appliance compatible for use with MDI dome

• DCJ, DCJ.2, DCT: control keyboards.
• SM42A, SM82A, SM84A, SM164A: video matrix
• DCRE485: communications controller that let you control several dome in a star configuration with a single
keyboard
• DTRX3, DTMRX2, DTMRX224: telemetry receiver that can be connected with Dome MDI in a cascade
manner.
• OMDPSWR: Power supply Kit to be used with MDI dome.
