After stopping the engine, disconnect
the fuel hose from the fuel joint on the
outboard motor, and then install the fuel
joint cap. WARNING! When not using a
portable fuel tank, make sure to install
the fuel joint cap. Otherwise, injury
could result from striking the fuel joint
accidentally.

joint on the fuel tank.
