Switching on the appliance
1. Plug the power cord into the mains.
2. Press the on/off button until the temperature display
lights up.
The temperature display and the alarm button flash until
the set temperature is reached. If the temperature is
above 0 °C, dashes flash; if it is below 0 °C, the current
temperature flashes.
Do not put food into the appliance until the set
temperature has been reached.
Adjusting the temperature
The temperature can be adjusted in the range from
−14 °C to −28 °C.
Change the temperature using the Up and Down
D
adjustment buttons.
Down:
Increase the temperature (warmer)
Up:
Decrease the temperature (colder)
Each time you press a button briefly, the adjustment
value changes in 1 °C increments.
When you press the button for the first time, the
temperature display shows the previous value.
To change the temperature continuously:

Press and hold the adjustment button.
The electronics switch on automatically approximately
5 seconds after you last pressed the button, and the
actual temperature is displayed.
SuperFrost
Using this function, you can freeze food quickly, right to
the core. The appliance works with maximum cooling
output, which means that appliance noise may
temporarily increase.
Moreover, there is a cooling reserve for frozen food that
you have already stored. As a result, food remains frozen
for longer when you are defrosting the appliance.
Press the SuperFrost button once briefly.

The SuperFrost button lights up.
The temperature drops and the appliance works with
maximum cooling output.
Do not switch on SuperFrost in the following situations:
If you place pre frozen goods in the freezer.

If you freeze up to approximately 2 kg fresh food on
D
a daily basis.
If you have only a small quantity of frozen foods:
Wait for approximately 6 hours.
D
Place the fresh food in the lower compartments.
D
With the maximum quantity of frozen foods:
Wait for approximately 24 hours.
D
Place packaged food directly on the shelves and
D
only place them in the drawers once they have
frozen.
SuperFrost switches off automatically. Depending on
the amount of food placed in the appliance, this takes
between 30 and 65 hours.
