OPERATION MANUAL AND INSTRUCTIONS
ISTRUZIONI PER L'USO
- STEP 4: Feeding set amount of tracer.
- STEP 5: Pressure testing car system for leaks.
- STEP 6: Automatically filling A/C system with set amount of refrigerant gas.
Automatic cycle
Pressing the start key will start the automatic cycle; STEPS 1 to 5 (see previous section) will automatically be performed in
succession.
In this step, the station can only stop:
- when the entire work cycle has been completed.
- when, while testing vacuum, a leak is detected in the system. The automatic cycle will perform the individual steps according
to the preset parameters (these can be read next to the related icons). The data can be changed, if need be, by pressing the
key
on the icon you want, by pressing the
will be displayed next to the icon. Returning with the
automatic cycle with such values as modified by the user. After completing the cycle and going back to the screen displaying
the selected car, the default values will be shown again.
The following values can be set:
- vacuum time (in minutes);
- system tightness testing time (in minutes);
- the amount of fresh oil to fill the system with (in grams);
- the amount of tracer to feed (in grams).
- the amount of refrigerant gas to fill the system with (in grams).
Automatic steps:
- Testing station for gas leaks and removing gaseous residues.
- Recovering and draining old oil.
- Vacuum phase and testing system tightness.
- Feeding fresh oil and tracer.
- Pressure testing car system for leaks.
- Filling system with refrigerant gas.
Pressure can be monitored both at the start and at the end of each cycle.
If, during the vacuum phase, the low-pressure gauge shows a value ≥ 0.600 Mbar, the vacuometer will beep
persistently, to indicate that it has detected a leak. Determine the cause of the leak and repeat the vacuum phase.
