7.3 Mounting cover panel
CAUTION!
Do not pinch cable.

Clip on cover panel.

7.4 First Operation and Function Test
Remove the protective cap (if not already done).

Switch on power.
X
à Operation display GREEN lights up.
Open door leaf >90°.
X
Operate reset button on the smoke switch.
X
à Indicator light glows YELLOW for about 4 seconds.
à Door closes.
à Then the indicator light turns GREEN again.
7.5 Testing for acceptance
An acceptance test must be carried out in order to ascertain the correct function and installation according to
the regulations once the installation has been completed on site. Acceptance test to be performed by authorised
personnel; see document "Instructions for Installation, Commissioning, Operation and Maintenance of the GEZE
Hold-Open Device FA GC".
8 Maintenance, servicing, repairs
The installing company must alert the operator of the system to this part of the mounting instructions and hand
it over to the operator together with the user information (see ‚GEZE user information for door closer'). Regular
servicing has to be carried out. For more information on this, please observe the document "Instructions for
Installation, Commissioning, Operation and Maintenance of the GEZE Hold-Open Device FA GC".
