About this document
These instructions describe the installation and commissioning of the GEZE TS 4000 R KM BG and TS 4000 R KM
BS door closer.
1.1
Product description
This door closer is approved for installation on single leaf fire and smoke protection doors (not permitted for tran-
som mounting on the hinge side TS 4000 KM BS). The system includes, depending on version, an electrical hold-open
or free-swing device for the door wing that is controlled by an integrated smoke switch unit. In case of fire or power
failure, the electrical hold-open or free-swing device is disconnected and the door closes automatically.
