III. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING Read all safety warnings and all instructions.
Failure to follow the warnings and instructions may result in electric shock, fire and/or serious
injury.
Save all warnings and instructions for future reference.
The term "power tool" in the warnings refers to your mains-operated (corded) power tool or
battery-operated (cordless) power tool.
Explanation of symbols appearing on the tool (if applicable)
Warning! Read the instruction manual before operating this machine or prior to
carrying any intervention (e.g. cleaning, maintenance, repair ...) on the tool.
Follow all warnings and safety precautions to avoid a danger.
Caution! Risk of injury and/or damage and/or deterioration of product in case of
noncompliance to safety requirements.
Class II product.
Do not expose to weather conditions (e.g. rain, snow...).
Do not use or leave outdoors under rain.
Danger! Rotating chain. Do not touch.
Keep all parts of your body (and especially the hands) away from moving parts
and outside the cutting area during operation.
Do not attempt to clean debris when the chain is rotating.
Keep persons (esp. children) and animals away from product and working area.
Stop tool as soon as someone enters the working area.
Warning! Projection hazard (e.g. sawdust...)
Wear proper protective equipment such as earmuff, goggles...
Wear protective gloves during operation or for any intervention on the tool.
Wear protective boots with non-slippery soles during operation.
Warning! Danger of kickback.
Kickback can lead to dangerous loss of control of the chain saw.
Use the chainsaw with two hands.
Keep power cord and/or extension cord away from ploughing tines and from
ploughing track.
Unplug tool immediately from its power supply if the product, the power cord or
the extension cord are damaged or cut during operation. Unplug tool by pulling
the plug. Do not pull the cable.
Disconnect tool from its power supply before proceeding to any maintenance,
cleaning or any intervention on product; before leaving tool unattended or when
tool is not used for prolonged periods of time.
Do not dispose of this product with household rubbish.
Dispose of this product in the nearest recycle centre.
Please contact your local authority or local recycle centre for further information
for its safe disposal.
