9. Contrôles périodiques
Avant d'effectuer une quelconque opération véri-

fier toujours que les ressorts de la commande sont
débandés et que l'appareil est en position ouvert.
9.1. Généralités
Pendant le service normal, les disjoncteurs sont exempts
d'entretien. De possibles interventions sont toutefois asso-
ciées à la difficulté du service, c'est-à-dire à l'ensemble de
divers facteurs tels que la fréquence des manœuvres, la valeur
des courants interrompus et le facteur de puissance correspon-
dant, ainsi que le milieu d'installation.
Dans le paragraphe qui suit on fournit, à titre de précaution, le
tableau du programme de contrôle avec les intervalles pério-
diques. Pour ces intervalles il est conseillé de respecter ce qui
est prescrit dans le tableau, au moins pour la première vérifica-
tion.
Selon les résultats obtenus au cours des vérifications périodi-
ques, on établira la périodicité optimale des opérations succes-
sives.

Il est conseillé de contacter un centre Après vente ABB pour la
révision générale du disjoncteur à chaque 10 000 manoeuvres
ou après 10 ans, pour garantir le fonctionnement des 10 000
manoeuvres suivantes.
Le disjoncteur doit être remplacé après 50 000 manoeuvres
(contacter un centre après vente ABB pour la récupération du
gaz).

9. Periodical checking
Before carrying out any operation, make sure that

the operating mechanism springs are discharged
and that the apparatus is in the open position.
9.1. General
During normal service, the circuit-breakers are maintenance-
free. The frequency and sort of inspections basically depend on
the service conditions. Various factors must be taken into
account: frequency of operations, interrupted current values,
relative power factor and the installation ambient.
The following paragraph gives the checking programme table,
showing the relevant time intervals.
As far as the time interval between these operations is con-
cerned, it is advisable to comply with specifications given in the
table, at least during the first check. On the basis of the results
obtained during the periodic inspections, set the optimal time
limits for carrying out the following operations.

Every 10,000 operations or after 10 years, it is advisable to con-
tact an ABB service centre for a general overhaul of the circuit-
breaker to guarantee its operation for the following 10,000 op-
erations.
After 50,000 operations, the circuit-breaker must be replaced
(contact an ABB service centre to recover the gas).

mulations de poussière, souillure, fissures, déchar-
ges ou traces de décharges superficielles.
The parts in resin must be free of any accumulation of
dust, dirt, cracks, discharges or traces of surface
discharges.
Les éléments doivent être exempts de déformations.Vis,
écrous, boulons, etc. doivent être serrés.
The elements must be free of any deformation.
Screws, nuts, bolts, etc. must be tight.
Les contacts de sectionnement doivent être exempts
de déformations et d'érosions.Lubrifier les éléments
de contact avec de la graisse type 5RX Moly.
The isolating contacts must be free of any deformation
or erosion.
Lubricate the contact elements with grease type 5RX
Moly.
