5 - Operation
Do not move the appliance during
operation.
Before every use, ensure that the
containers, bottles, lids, seals and valves
are completely clean.
Connect the plug located at the rear of
the appliance to turn it on. The appliance
does not use any power while it is not in
operation.
Place the food in the container then
cover with the appropriate lid. Place the
container with its lid right up against the
appliance (see picture P).
P
Take the vacuum head, being careful to
extend it fully upwards (see photo Q)
Q
then place it on to the valve in the lid or
stopper (see photo R).

The vacuum mechanism is then triggered
automatically.
Hold the vacuum head against the valve
in the lid for a few seconds until the head
fixes to it completely. If the valve does not
remain held in place, this means that a
vacuum will not be formed.
After making sure the vacuum head
has properly adhered to the valve, it is
no longer necessary to hold it in place.
Vacuumization will continue of its own
accord.
To vacuumize extremely light containers,
hold them in place to prevent them from
being lifted up by sucking action.
Once the optimum level of vacuum has
been reached, the mechanism will cut out
and the vacuum head will automatically
retract.
Next, place the container in the refrigerator
or freezer if necessary.
Do not use the appliance for more than
10 minutes in a row.
To open the container, apply sideways
pressure on the middle of the valve or lift
the valve from the container (see picture S).
S
While using the appliance, you may hear
a few clicks when the vacuum process
is almost complete. This is completely
normal.
