Container and lid
The container
Be Save Kit is manufactured from
®
borosolicate glass and will withstand
up to 500°C. It is suitable for oven use,
either with or without the lid.
Check that temperature differences do
not exceed 120°C (e.g. do not place in
a pre-heated oven immediately after
taking out of the freezer).
Never fill your containers right up to
the brim. (See picture M.) Fill them up
to 1cm maximum (approximately the
thickness of a finger) below the lip so
that no food or liquid inside is sucked
up by the pump during vacuumization.

The glass container is dishwasher-proof.
Ensure that the lips of containers,
airtight seals and lids are clean in order
for the vacuum to be formed correctly.

Stoppers
The stoppers are suitable for standard
the
wine bottles and any other bottle with
a similar neck.
To vacuumize bottles, ensure that they
are not full to the top and that the liquid
is at least 4cm from the lip (see picture
N).
Next, place the bottle against the side
of the appliance (see picture O) so that
vacuumization can automatically take
place without the bottle falling over.
Check that the bottle is completely
stable before letting go of it, and hold it
in place if necessary.

Never attempt to vacuumize plastic
bottles or bottles made from any other
flexible material, as the process would
bend the bottle out of shape and the
liquid would be sucked up into the
appliance, thereby damaging it.
Do not force the stopper into a neck
that is too narrow, in order to prevent
damage to the seal.
Not suitable for use with fizzy drinks as
the vacuum will make the drink lose its
fizziness more quickly.
Not suitable for vacuum-packing volatile
ingredients (such as flour, powdered
chocolate, potato flour, etc.)
