3 - Recommendations before use
This appliance is designed for domestic
use only and not for professional or
industrial use.
Setting up the appliance
Place the appliance on a hard, flat,
sturdy surface.
Keep the appliance away from any heat
sources, splashing water and similar.
Do not place the appliance near to the
edge of your work surface in order to
prevent it from falling off and becoming
damaged.
Ensure that the rubber feet on the
bottom of the appliance are always
in place during use to prevent the
appliance from overheating or slipping.
Ensure that the air vent located beneath
the appliance is never obstructed.
Ensure that the appliance does not suck
anything in other than air in order to
ensure that it remains in working order.
Do
not
use
accessories
specifically designed for the Be Save
The
appliance's
designed to be placed on to the valves
of the Be Save lids or stoppers only.
Electrical safety
Do not use the appliance if the power
cord, plug, vacuum head spirals or other
parts are damaged.
Before plugging the appliance in, ensure
that the voltage of the appliance
matches that of your mains supply.
Plug the appliance into a wall socket.
If any of the appliance's protective
casing is damaged, immediately unplug
the appliance from the mains socket to
the
appliance

avoid electric shock.
Do not place the power cord or spirals
of the appliance in contact with any
heat source.
Do not use the appliance if it has been
dropped or if there are any visible signs
of damage.
Never use the power cord to lift,
transport or unplug the device.
Do not touch the plug with wet hands.
Do not use the appliance in or expose it
to bad weather.
Unplug the appliance before cleaning
(see recommendations, page 20).
In the event of overheating, immediately
switch off the appliance and unplug it.
4 - Use
Seals
The silicone seals ensure an airtight fit
between the container and lid.
They are detachable and can therefore be
removed from the lids for easier cleaning.

Ensure that the brighter parts are facing

Place the seal in the designated space on
the lid and using your fingers, press the
seal into place without stretching it (see
pictures I and J).
