CAUTION
Be careful when handling damaged plug-in power supply units:
Touching parts connected to the mains is life-threatening!
Switch off the socket (remove the fuse of the relevant circuit or switch off)
before unplugging a damaged plug-in power supply from the socket.
The chargers and the plug-in power supply units are designed for use in an
office-type environment. Protect the charger against heavy dirt, dust, hu-
midity and moisture as well as direct heat radiation. See page 211.
End-user information regarding environmentally responsible
disposal of old units and depleted batteries
The returning and the environmentally responsible disposal of old electric and
electronic units is governed by the German Electrical and Electronic Equip-
ment Act.
All electrical and electronic devices marked with the
crossed-out rubbish bin as well as their components, e.g.
empty batteries, must not be disposed of together with
household waste, but must be collected separately and dis-
posed of / reused in an environmentally friendly manner.
Return these units and components to a public electronic
scrap collecting point. All components of these old units which contain haz-
ardous substances will be collected separately and disposed of in an envi-
ronmentally friendly way, according to their degree of harmfulness. All other
components not containing any hazardous substances are reused as sec-
ondary raw materials.
Only dispose of depleted batteries.
