Protection of your business handset against tampering
and environmental influences
ATTENTION
Never undo the screw fastenings of the device casing.
The casing may otherwise be damaged. The handset contains no
parts that you can repair.
Protect the device from extreme environmental influences (e.g. tempera-
tures outside of the temperature specifications in the technical data and
from continuous direct solar radiation.
Do not expose the device to strong magnetic fields such as those that may
occur e. g. near induction furnaces and induction stoves.
Protection of other devices against malfunctions due to the
business handset
Usually, other electronic devices are protected against high-frequency irra-
diation. However, if such a unit is insufficiently shielded, malfunctions may
result that can be eliminated by a sufficiently large distance between the
units.
Switch off the handset wherever the operation of DECT™ telephones is
forbidden. The use of DECT™-telephones can be prohibited or limited in
the vicinity of explosives, fuel and chemicals and in the vicinity of medical
facilities. Always observe local information and prohibitions.
