The standard output of the hot air supply duct is vertical, at the request of the customer can place a rear valve kit
that allows the hot air pipes choked on the left and right channel.
Any modifications must be done by authorised and competent personnel; changes made at random can
cause serious damage to the stove, for which COLA declines any liability.
4.8 Thermostat - external chronothermostat
The unit controls the room temperature by means of its own digital thermostat whose
function is to detect the temperature through a probe and lower the heat output when
the set temperature is reached.
To use an external thermostat, contact an authorised technician and proceed as
follows:
- turn off the power by means of the main switch on the back and detach the power
cable;
- remove the side panel to access the electronic controller;
- referring to the wiring diagram, connect the two wires of thermostat to the respective
board TERM terminals;
- refit everything and check correct operation.
The setting procedure is as follows:
- external thermostat:
- external chronothermostat: SET the temperature to 7°C and disable the chrono
All the menu functions do not change for each of the settings and signalling of the
connection occurs with lighting up of the segment LED on the status bar of the
display.
4.9 Remote control
The remote control works with the settings made in the control panel and allows stove lighting-shutdown, and
adjustment of the required output and temperature.
Since this device transmits through an infrared diode, it must be pointed at the receiver unit in the control panel.
The remote control allows the following operations:
P1 and P3: Buttons to set the power
level
P5: Button to activate/deactivate the
COMFORT
function
power level activation)
P7: Button to activate/deactivate the
MAGIC CLEANING function
P9: On/Off button and for exiting the
MENU
P5 - COMFORT function: pressing this button forces power and ventilation onto P1. Deactivating this function will
take the power and ventilation to the value prior to activation.
This function observes and performs STANDBY.
P6 - QUICK function: pressing this button forces the machine power onto P5, saving the previous set power.
Ventilation, too, if present, is forced onto AUTOMATIC (so maximum ventilation); saving the previous ventilation
value. When pressed with the comfort function activated, it restores power and ventilation to the previous saved
value. With set ambient or set water satisfied the heater modulates P1 power together with ventilation.
P7 - MAGIC CLEANING function: pressing this button while the machine is working will force BRAZIER CLEANING.
When OFF, activating this function will put the machine into FINAL CLEANING. From the state of FINAL CLEANING,
if this button is pressed again it will discharge the FINAL CLEANING timer thus leaving intact the safety checks on the
flue gas temperature.
P8 - TURBO function: like the QUICK function with the difference that the heater does not modulate P1 power with
set ambient or set water satisfied but modulates only in the flue gas safety condition.
SET the temperature to 7°C;
functions from the menu 03-01.
