c) Connecting the Running Light LEDs
The 16 channel running light control allows you to operate up to 16 LEDs or LED groups. The
maximum current per running light channel not exceed 150 mA. The switching stages of the
running light work as open collector circuit and connect the soldering points K1 to K16 to earth/
GND when activated.
For this reason, the LEDs must be wired according to the example circuit below. For better
overview, only one LED was used per channel. However, several LEDs can be operated in
series or parallel per channel. However, the maximum permissible overall current of 150 mA
per channel must not be exceeded.
The left LED series corresponds to channel 1 - 8 from top to bottom, the right LED series
corresponds to channels 9 - 16 from top to bottom.

Even if you connect several LEDs in sequence, they will usually have a much lower operating
voltage than the supply voltage (UB). Therefore, a suitable dropping resistor (Rv) must be
calculated and inserted.
