VII.2. Battery replacement
When the low charge alarm appears and the red light illuminates, this indicates that the emergency battery that provides
backup power for the memory and clock is running low. To replace the battery proceed as follows. A condenser protects
the timer and allows it to run for approximately 10 minutes after a power failure. If the battery replacement operation takes
less than 10 minutes, it will not be necessary to reload the programme and the timer will continue to function normally.
The battery type is CR2032
Using a small screwdriver, press in the clips on each side of the battery housing to remove the cover from the base. Hold
the base and remove the cover.
Battery position
Grip the battery and gently pull it upwards to remove it from its housing.
Press the new battery firmly into its support. Note : Be careful to install the battery the right way round to respect the
polarity.
