7 .00 Fitting the Multi support sling – lifting upper body
Place the sling around the top half of the
small of the patient's back and bottom half
of his/her upper body.
Place palm on the sling and press down
on the underlay while pushing the sling in
underneath the patient.
Pull the last piece of the sling out
on the other side so that the sling
is equally distributed on both sides
of the patient.
Attach the lifting straps to the
lifting hanger, and lift the
patient's upper body off of the
underlay.
