Replacing the side brush:

This operation must be carried out with the motor off.
1. Unscrew the ring nut Detail 1 Fig. 18 located centrally and under the side broom, which will automatically descend.
2. Change the worn broom with the new one, tightening the ring nut firmly.
OBSERVE THE RULES AND PRECAUTIONS PROVIDED IN CHAPTER 7 "SAFETY RUELS AND
REGULATIONS"
4. In order for the batteries to last for a suitable amount of time, whether they are flat or tubular, never let them go
completely flat. COMPLETELY FLAT BATTERIES (INCLUDING NEW ONES) CANNOT BE RE-CHARGED.
5. Check the level of battery solution frequently, and add distilled water only, as needed.
6. Always re-charge the batteries without interrupting the cycle.
