In case of intervention by this safety device as a result of overheating, disconnect from the power supply and leave the motor
to cool until it reaches an acceptable temperature. Before re-using the pump, check to verify the reasons which caused the
motor to overheat.
Check to ensure that certified cables are used in accordance with current regulations, with three cross-sections (2 + earth) of
at least 0.75 mm², with a maximum length of 2 m for the cable. If the cable is longer, the cross-section must be increased in a
suitable manner pursuant to currently applicable regulations.
OPERATION
Never allow the pump to run dry (without water). This will cause damage to the shaft seal and internal plastic components.
STARTING THE PUMP
In a flooded suction type application (pump below water level or in-line with primary pump), the pump starts as soon as the
shut-off valves in the inlet are opened.
In non-flooded applications, the pump must be primed by adding water within the suction piping and pump cavity.
The pump starts working after switching on. The suction action time depends on the suction height and the length of the suc-
tion line.
If the pump does not work, check that all shut-off valves are open and that there are no leaks in the suction line where air can
enter the water line preventing activation.
LOGIC SAFE (electronic device that protects the pump)
BLUEFLO® is fitted with an integrated electronic device, LOGIC SAFE, that controls the electric parameters of the electropump
and the water temperature, by registering the difference between the pre-set values and those generated by dry running, mo-
tor overload and water over-temperature anomalies.

CONTROL PANEL

Green LED light on : "Power-on". Pump connected to the power supply
Yellow LED light on : "Pump-on". Pump running
Yellow LED blinking : "Pump-on". Pump running and the device has registered the dry
running anomaly. If the anomaly lasts, it generates the definitive alarm (red blinking led)
Red LED light on : "Failure". Motor overload.
Red LED blinking : "Failure". Dry running or water overtemperature.
Green LED : "Restart'. Reset after anomaly.
Dry running
The pump will stop in case of dry-running.
The parameters have been tuned according to the pump characteristics.
NOTE : When a dry running condition is preliminary identified, the Yellow LED next to
"Pump-On" will start to blink? If this condition lasts, a permanent fault will be generated.
This fault will be indicated with a blinkin red LED "Failure".
To restore the device, press the green 'Restart" button.
Overload
The pump will stop in case of an overload (abnormal absorbed current)
When the absorbed current is exceeding the nominal value of the pump, the device will stop the pump and protect it from
power surges. This fault will be indicated by the steady red LED "Failure".
To restore the device, press the green "Restart" button.
Overtemperature
The pump will stop when the water temperature exceeds the a fixed critical value.
This fault will be indicated by the blinking red LED "Failure".
In this case it is necessary to wait for it to cool before resuming use.
To restore the device, press the green "Restart" button.
Press the RESTART button to restart the equipment and the system as normal. If the power is cut off, the pump will automati-
call be restored to a serviceable condition when it returns.
