6) Nach dem Einstellen der Startadresse lässt sich
der LSX-30 über das angeschlossene Steuer-
gerät bedienen. Sobald die DMX-Signale des
DMX-Steuergerät empfangen werden, blinkt die
grüne LED DMX (6) und das Display zeigt die
eingestellte Startadresse an.
5.5 Betriebsparameter verändern
Durch Aufrufen des Menüs lassen sich die folgenden
Parameter verändern. Die hier dargestellte Reihen-
folge entspricht der Reihenfolge der Menüpunkte.
1) Die Taste MENU (2) so oft drücken, bis der ge-
wünschte Menüpunkt im Display (1) angezeigt
wird.
2) Die Taste ENTER (7) drücken, um den Einstell-
vorgang zu aktivieren.
3) Mit der Taste UP oder DOWN (3) die Einstellung
vornehmen.
4) Zum Bestätigen die Taste ENTER drücken. Da-
nach ist der nächste Menüpunkt angewählt. Das
Menü blendet sich aus, wenn 8 Sekunden lang
keine Taste betätigt wird.

As the next possible start address for the fol-
lowing DMX-controlled unit the address 22 can
be used for this example.
6) After adjusting the start address, the LSX-30 can
be operated via the connected control unit. As
soon as control signals of the DMX control unit
are received, the green LED DMX (6) flashes and
the display shows the adjusted start address.
5.5 Changing the operating parameters
By calling the menu the following parameters can be
changed. The order represented here corresponds
to the order of the menu items.
1) Press the button MENU (2) so many times until
the desired menu item is displayed (1).
2) Press the button ENTER (7) to activate the ad-
justing procedure.
3) Make the adjustment with the button UP or
DOWN (3).
4) To confirm press the button ENTER. Then the
next menu item is selected. The menu will be
extinguished when no button is actuated for
8 seconds.

Mit der Taste ENTER die Einstellung um-
schalten. Das Display blinkt 8 Sekunden
lang. Danach blendet sich das Menü aus.
Selbsttest
Nach dem Drücken der Taste ENTER
läuft ein Selbsttest ab. Zum Beenden
die Taste MENÜ drücken. Der nächste
Menüpunkt blinkt 8 Sekunden lang. Da-
nach blendet sich das Menü aus und
der Selbsttest wird beendet.
Betriebsstundenzähler (Fixture Hours)
Nach dem Drücken der Taste ENTER
zeigt das Display die Betriebsstunden an.
Nach 8 Sekunden schaltet das Gerät auf
den vorherigen Betriebsmodus zurück.
Reset
Durch Drücken der Taste ENTER wird
ein Hardware-Reset durchgeführt: Der
Laserstrahl wird abgeschaltet und die
Drehspiegel fahren in ihre Ausgangs-
stellung. Danach schaltet das Gerät auf
den vorherigen Betriebsmodus zurück.

After pressing the button ENTER, the
display shows the operating hours. After
8 seconds the unit will return to its pre-
vious operating mode.
Reset
By pressing the button ENTER a hard-
ware reset will be performed: The laser
beam will be switched off and the rotat-

Reinigung der Optik
Die beiden Drehspiegel und die Laseraustritts-
scheibe (5) sollten in regelmäßigen Abständen, je
nach Verschmutzung durch Staub, Rauch oder
andere Partikel, gereinigt werden. Nur dann kann
der Laserstrahl mit maximaler Helligkeit abgestrahlt
werden.
WARNUNG
Vor dem Reinigen den Netzstecker
aus der Steckdose ziehen und das
Gerät einige Minuten abkühlen las-
sen.
Um die Drehspiegel reinigen zu können, die
Schraube (4) entfernen und die vordere Abdeckung
abnehmen. Zur Reinigung ein weiches, sauberes
Tuch und ein handelsübliches Glasreinigungsmittel
verwenden. Anschließend die Teile vorsichtig
trocken wischen. Die vordere Abdeckung wieder
festschrauben.

Cleaning of the Optical System
The two rotating mirrors and the outlet pane of the
laser (5) should be cleaned at regular intervals,
depending on impurities caused by dust, smoke, or
other particles. Only in this case the laser beam can
be radiated at maximum brightness.
WARNING
Prior to cleaning, disconnect the
mains plug from the mains socket
and let the unit cool down for some
minutes.
To be able to clean the rotating mirrors, remove the
screw (4) and the front cover. For cleaning use a
soft, clean cloth and a commercial detergent for
glass. Then carefully wipe the parts dry. Retighten
the front cover.
