d) Manually Setting Time and Date
When changing the year, month, date, hours or minutes, DCF reception is deactivated
automatically and the radio tower icon (H) goes out.
If this happens by accident, just perform a new DCF reception attempt after terminating
setting mode; see chapter 11. a).
When setting the 12h/24h mode and time zone, DCF reception is not deactivated.
• Push the „MODE" button (1) until the year starts flashing at the lower left of the display.
• Set the year with the buttons „UP/ALARM" (2) and „DOWN/DCF" (3)
Keep the respective button pressed for quick adjustment.
• Briefly push the „MODE" button (1); the month flashes.
Set the month with the buttons „UP/ALARM" (2) and „DOWN/DCF" (3).
• Briefly push the „MODE" button (1); the date flashes.
Set the date with the buttons „UP/ALARM" (2) and „DOWN/DCF" (3).
• Briefly push the button „MODE" (1); the hours of the time flash.
Set the hours with the buttons „UP/ALARM" (2) and „DOWN/DCF" (3).
• Briefly push the button „MODE" (1); the minutes of the time flash.
Set the minutes with the buttons „UP/ALARM" (2) and „DOWN/DCF" (3).
• Briefly push the „MODE" button (1); „12 Hr" or „24 Hr" flashes on the display.
Now use the buttons „UP/ALARM" (2) or „DOWN/DCF" (3) to switch between 12h and 24 h
mode.
In 12h mode, „PM" is displayed to the left of the time in the second half of the day.
• Briefly push the „MODE" button (1); then the time zone setting flashes.
• Now use the buttons „UP/ALARM" (2) or „DOWN/DCF" (3) to adjust the time zone in the area
of +12 to -12 hours.
After setting the time zone (another value than „0"), the time can be switched later by
a short push of the button „ZONE" (12) at the rear.
• Pressing „MODE" (1) again terminates setting mode.
