5. OPERATING PROCEDURE

WARNING: Always observe the safety instructions and applicable regulations.
WARNING: To reduce the risk of serious personal injury, disconnect battery pack before making any
adjustments or removing/installing attachments or accessories.
WARNING: To reduce the risk of serious personal injury, ALWAYS use proper hand position.
WARNING: To reduce the risk of serious personal injury, ALWAYS hold securely in anticipation of a
sudden reaction

PROPER HAND POSITION

Proper hand position requires one hand on the main handle (I) fig. 1.

TOOL OPERATION

Installing a blind insert nut (fig. 7,8,9)
Read a Touch Screen Operating Manual to know the details of how to use the touch screen.

To install a blind insert nut
Switch the FR lever (S) to "Stroke side" from left side to right side from the tool front. (Only first operation)
Pull the switch (J) once to turn on the power of the screen and to return to home.
Adjust the stroke or force for the nut with application to be installed from the screen. (Only first
operation)
Push the mandrel (A) with Nut(Y) to mount the nut onto Nosepiece (B)
*Do not put the nut onto the application before mounting it onto the Nosepieces (B)
Position the tool and insert the tool into the hole of application (fig.8)
Pull and release the switch (J) (fig. 9).
Once the nut (Y) has been set completely, the tool returns home automatically.
Removing a nut stuck (Enforced spin off)
Touch Enforced spin-off icon on the touch screen, it returns to home.
OR
Switch the FR lever (S) to "Spin-off side" from right side to left side from the tool front.
Keep pulling the switch until a nut is removed and release the switch.
Switch the FR lever (S) to "Stroke side" from right side to left side from the tool front for next setting.
Reset function (fig.3,9)
If the tool does not move to its initial position after releasing the switch or stops during the setting stroke,
remove the battery, re-insert and then repeat the prior step, and pull the switch (J) to turn on again.
If the issue persists, contact your local service representative.
