Fitting instructions

1) Disassemble the bumper and loosen the exhaust out of the filling up rubbers, let the rubbers on the vehicle.
Remove the heat shield.
2) Remove, on both sides, the undermost bolt which fastens the bumper support on the chassis, grind for this the head
of the bolt and treat the cutting surfaces with a rust preventing agent. Enlarge these drillings till ø12,5mm.
3) Insert the tubes (1), the bolts and the washers through the existing drillings in the outside of the chassis beams (be
careful that the bolts and the tubes are correctly placed in the drillings). Place the mounting pieces (2) and (3) with
points (A) against the inner side of the chassis beams matching the already inserted bolts.
4) Place the tow bar between the inside work of the bumper and the bodywork, insert the bolts and screw everything
firmly on (see tension). Assemble the heat shield and hang the exhaust back in the rubbers.
5) Make an incision in the underside of the bumper according to stencil enclosed, re-assemble the bumper on the
vehicle.
6) Assemble the ball together with the security shackle, insert the bolts and tighten firmly.
Disassemblage of the bumper
- 2 small screws on the entrance of the trunk
- 2x3 small screw in the splash-boards
- 2x1 small screw behind the splash-board
- 4 small nuts at the bottom of the bumper
- loosen the sides

Note
Please consult your cardealer or owners manual for the maximal permissable towing mass.
Remove any bitumen coating on the fastening position for the tow bar.
When drilling, be carefull not to damage any brake lines, electrical wiring or fuel lines.
