Fitting instructions

1) Remove the covering in the trunk.
support. After assemblage of the tow bar, affix the rubbers on the
fixing hook (i).
2) On models fitted with a heat shield : loosen the shield and cut length-
wise just at the chassis beam.
using the two provided screws, fit the other part between the tow bar
and the chassis beam.
3) Mounting piece (A) of the tow bar fits over the drilling in the towing
ring support piece.

Point (B') needs to be drilled out to ø10,5mm.

Insert the bolts and washers through the trunk.
4) Position the tow bar with points (A), (B) and (B') on the above mentioned
points. Assemble (*) and tighten everything firmly.
5) Replace the rubbers of the exhaust and the trunk covering in their
original position.

Please consult your cardealer, or owners manual for the max. Permissible towing mass.
Remove any bitumen coating on the fastening position for the tow bar.
When drilling, be carefull not to damage any brake lines, electrical wiring or feul lines.
