door removal / installation
WARNING

Glass may be hot. Do not touch glass until cooled.
•
If equipped with door latches that are part of a safety system, they must be properly engaged. Do not
operate the appliance with latches disengaged.
•
Facing and/or fi nishing materials must not interfere with air fl ow through air openings, louvre openings,
operation of louvres, or doors/access for service. Observe all clearances when applying combustible
materials.
•
Before door is removed, turn the appliance off and wait until appliance is cool to the touch. Doors are heavy
and fragile so handle with care.
Remove the surround (see "surround installaton /

removal" section) then remove the safety screen
(see "safety screen installation / removal " section).
Remove the 3 screws that secure the door.

Lift the door up and off.

Reverse steps to reinstall the door, safety screen,

and surround.
note:
A barrier designed to reduce the risk of burns from the
hot viewing glass is provided with the appliance and
must be installed.

brick panel installation
Carefully remove the 4 screws securing the brick retainer.
A.
Un-install the brick panels and remove the packaging.
B.
Center the rear brick panel against the back of the firebox with the bottom edge resting on the back

flange.
Place the top brick panel against the top of the rear brick panel. Align the holes in the brick retainer with

the holes in the firebox and secure using the 4 screws provided.
