    4.0 INSTALLATION WARNING ENSURE TO UNPACK ALL LOOSE MATERIALS FROM INSIDE THE FIREBOX PRIOR TO HOOKING UP THE GAS AND ELECTRICAL SUPPLY.     6.0 OPTIONAL INSTALLATION RECEIVER LOCATION/WIRING For wiring information see the “WIRING DIAGRAM” section. Remote receiver can either be installed into the side of the appliance (see illustration below) or hard wired into a wall within 8 feet of the appliance and must be accessible for programming the remote. If installing into a wall, install the receiver into a standard electrical switch box.

    7.0 ELECTRICAL INFORMATION HARD WIRING CONNECTION It is necessary to hard wire this appliance. Permanently framing the appliance with an enclosure, requires the appliance junction box to be hard wired. This appliance must be electrically connected and grounded in accordance with local codes. In the absence of local codes, use the current CSA C22.1 Canadian electrical code in Canada or the ANSI/NFPA 70-1996 National electrical code in the United States.

    8.12 TIMED BLOWER NOTE: This function is not available as the appliance is not equipped with a blower. Your remote system may have a built in timer (in thermostat mode) that enables the blower (if equipped) to cycle on and off automatically when the burner turns on and off. With the remote control fan speed preset at the preferred speed, the blower will come on approximately 5 minutes after the main burner comes on and will shut off approximately 12 minutes after the burner shuts off.
