Filling in C/L

The water for the coolant/lubricant must
have drinking-water quality. The optimal
hardness range is between 10 - 20 °dH
(corresponds to 1.8 - 3.6 mmol total hard-
ness per litre). If the hardness is far
beyond this range, we recommend the
addition of distilled water. For grinding
glass-ceramic materials, it is generally rec-
ommended to use distilled water.
▷ Fill 20 liters of water and 1 liter of coolant con-
centrate into the C/L container and mix well.
▷ Insert the filter bag into the C/L container.
▷ Reattach the cover with the drain pipe and
secure it with the four star-knob nuts.

Installing the supply unit into the

set-up cart

▷ Lift the supply unit into the set-up cart.
▷ Connect the control cable.
▷ Connect the return pipe and the C/L supply line
at the top to the supply unit.
▷ Mount the left-hand side wall of the set-up cart.
NOTE:
Danger of damaging cables and hoses!
▷ When moving the set-up cart, do not pinch or
drive over any cables or hoses.
▷ Connect the C/L drain pipe, the C/L supply line
and the control cable to the milling machine.

Cleaning the C/L system

▷ Remove and clean the swarf sieve.
▷ Clean the milling chamber.
▷ Reinsert the swarf sieve.
▷ Mount the splash guard.
▷ Empty the C/L container (see page 56).
▷ Clean the C/L container (see page 56).
▷ Fill 5 liters of water and 250 ml of coolant con-
centrate into the C/L container and mix well.
▷ Flush the milling machine for 15 minutes.
▷ Empty the C/L container.
▷ Insert the filter bag.
▷ Fill 20 liters of water and 1 l of coolant concen-
trate into the C/L container and mix well.
▷ Fully connect the supply unit again.
