Chapter 4:

4-1. Intended use of the accessory

The crane kit should only be used for the scaffolding models listed in the instructions attached to
the accessory.

4-2. Use limits

The maximum working load of a lifting eye is 150Kg.
For a complete kit, it is therefore 600Kg.
It is therefore impossible to use the G950 above an 8.80m platform as the weight is > 600Kg (See
§2-3).

4-3. Instructions for assembly, use and upkeep

1. The ladders must be connected to each other with bolts.
2. The four castor wheels must be secured with bolts.
3. Diagonals must be doubled.
4. Lower the guard rails one rung below the crane rung.
5. Adjust the length of the crane rails to the length of the mobile tower.
6. The crane rungs must be positioned on the outside of the mobile tower.
7. The clamps of the crane kit must be positioned below the rungs of the ladders.
8. When lifting, the mobile tower should be unloaded (equipment and personnel)
9. The slings angle must comply with the standards in force
10. For checks, refer to the requirements of Articles R.4323-23 and the order dated 1 March
2004.
