1 - INTRODUCTION TO THE
MANUAL
1.1

Foreword

The ROYAL OFFICE vending machine can be equipped with
the following optional components:
Coin Box: prearrangement for the housing of a side coin
slot and/or an MDB reader.
Cabinet: To support the machine and to store cups, stirrers,
sugar and stocks. (For further information see the corre-
sponding manual.)
Important
This manual is an integral part of the machine equipped
with coiner box (optional) and must be preserved with
care. It must accompany the machine throughout its
operational life including changes of ownership.
It contains all the information about installation and
correct use of the coiner box for the ROYAL OFFICE
machine.
Always refer to this manual before performing any opera-
tion.

Important
The key to open the water and coffee tanks, the side
door and the COINER BOX door are available only to
the supply operator and maintenance technician.

Symbols used

A number of symbols are used in this manual to indicate
that require various degrees of danger or expertise.
Each symbol is explained by a message.
Where no symbol is used, the information is intended for
all users of the machine.
The symbols used are the following:
Supply operator
Those in charge of supplying and cleaning the machine
and of removing coins form the machine. Maintenance
operations that require a specialized technician are not
to be performed by supply operators.

Maintenance technician
The symbol indicates operations to be performed only by
specialized maintenance technicians and servicemen.
Warning
The symbol indicates danger for operators and the
machine itself.
Important
The symbol indicates operations that contribute to keep-
ing the machine in good working conditions.

2 - GENERAL INFORMATION

The package contains the following components:
-
box with interface card and coin box (Fig.1);
-
front panel (A) for assembling the side coin slot (optional)
(Fig.2);
-
front panel (B) for assembling the Saeco card (optional)
(Fig.2);
-
front panel (C) for assembling the coin slot (optional)
and the Saeco card (optional) (Fig.2);
-
neutral front panel (D) for assembling other payment
systems (optional) (Fig.2);
-
component fastenings included in package.
-
Flat cable (E) for side coin slot connection (E) (Fig.2).
The box has been designed and manufactured to accept
all standard commercial payment systems.
If necessary, contact your local Distributor or importer, or the
manufacturer when the importer cannot be contacted.
APPROVED ASSISTANCE CENTERS are available for in-
formation and explanations about the coiner box, and to
provide technical assistance and spare parts supplies.
The Manufacturer reserves the right to modify the machine
without any obligation to provide advance notice.
Important
Improper use determines the immediate warranty expi-
ration and the Manufacturer declines responsibility for
damages and personal injuries.
Improper use includes:

using the coiner box for purposes other than that in-
tended and/or following procedures not described in
this manual;
-
interventions on the coiner box that are against instruc-
tions included in this manual;
