3 - SAFETY

3.1

General safety norms

Danger
It is extremely dangerous to put the coiner box in con-
tact with water!
Use the coiner box for its intended use only.
Power supply
Do not touch live parts inside the coiner box! It would cause
serious injuries.
Cleaning
Before cleaning the coiner box, turn the main switch off and
disconnect the power supply.
Repairing and maintenance
In case of failure or faults possibly after a fall, immediately
unplug the coiner. Do not turn the faulty device on. The
coiner can be repaired only by Approved Assistance Cen-
tres. The Manufacturer declines responsibility for damages
caused by incorrect repairing of the machine.
In case of failure and/or malfunctioning contact exclusively
qualified assistance service repairmen.
In case of fire use Carbon Dioxide extinguishers (CO
not use water or dry-powder extinguishers.
3.2

Operators requirements

To guarantee the safety and good functioning of the machine
two operators with different skills are required:
Maintenance technician
A specialized technician in charge of machine and
coiner box installation, maintenance and technical
assistance.
Supply operator
An operator in charge of turning the machine on/off,
supplying products, removing coins and of internal and
external cleaning of the machine.
If the machine is malfunctioning, the supply opera-
tor must request the intervention of the maintenance
technician.
User
The person who uses the machine. Users must NOT
perform any of the tasks of the supply operator or the
maintenance technician.
If the machine is malfunctioning, users should request
the intervention of the supply operator or the mainte-
nance technician.
4 - ASSEMBLING THE PAY-
MENT SYSTEM BOX
Side coin slots and MDB readers can be used with this type
of vending machine. This box must be fastened to the left-
hand side of the vending machine (using the two prepared
holes) and features a door with the same lock as the upper
cover and the vending machine's service door.
Please follow the indications described below carefully when

assembling the box.

Before assembling the box, switch off the machine by pres-
sing the master switch and then disconnect the plug from
the mains socket.

Assembling the box

Remove the safety cover on the left-hand side of the
vending machine by unscrewing the fastening screws
(Fig.3).

After removing the cover, check that the multipolar con-

nectors (power supply and electronic signal) are intact
and have not been damaged. Carefully take out the
electronic signal cable (Fig.4).
Warning: do not pull hard on the electronic signal cable;
should this cable be damaged, contact your Distributor
or importer.

Open the side cover using the wrench provided
(Fig.5).

Remove the coin box (Fig.6).

Remove the power supply fastons from the interface card
(Fig.7).

Unscrew the screws that fasten the card support inside
the box (Fig.8) and remove the support.

Slot the box power supply connector and the electronic
signal cable into the appropriate opening on the wall of
the box (Fig.9). Connect the power cable to the vending
machine (Fig.10). Move the box close to the vending
machine and fasten it using the two screws provided
(Fig.11).
