Fault in SAFE TEMP H (Hotplate)
adjustable safety circuit
44
Cause
• Medium temperature sensor 1 or 2
(PT 100 or PT 1000) was unplugged
during an operating cycle.
• Difference between the setpoint and
actual values of the adjustable safety
circuit for the minimum temperature
monitoring.
• Short-circuit at temperature
sensor plug.
• Short-circuit in connecting cable
or on temperature sensor.
• Short-circuit at temperature
sensor plug.
• Short-circuit in connecting cable
or on temperature sensor.
• SAFE TEMP P (Probe) is set at a tem-
perature lower than the actuel tempe-
rature on the temperature sensor 1.
• SAFE TEMP P (Probe) is set at a tem-
perature lower than the actuel tempe-
rature on the temperature sensor 2.
• Safety relay does not open.
• S_CHECK cannot generate a higher
H_S_TEMP.
• Difference between the setpoint and
actual values of the adjustable safety
circuit for the heating plate tempe-
ture monitoring
Effect
Solution
Heating OFF
• Only unplug the temperature sensor
when the unit is switched off.
Heating OFF
• Switch ON and set the SAFE TEMP P
to another value. If this clears the fault
when the unit is switched on again,
you can return to using the previous value.
Heating OFF
• Check the plug.
• Substitute the temperature sensor.
Heating OFF
• Check the plug.
• Substitute the temperature sensor.
Heating OFF
• Allow the medium to cool.
• Set the SAFE TEMP P (Probe) at a higher
temperature
Heating OFF
• Allow the medium to cool.
• Set the SAFE TEMP P (Probe) to a higher
temperature
Heating OFF
• Switch off the unit. Allow it to cool down
and then switch on again.
Heating OFF
• Switch off the unit. Allow it to cool down
and then switch on again.
Heating OFF
• Switch ON in operating mode A and set
the SAFE TEMP P to another value. If
this clears the fault when the unit is
switched on again, you can return to
using the previous value.
